Carolyn believes strongly that project management can be incredibly rewarding, but that architects need to be better trained in the business standard. She couples this with her passion for sustainable design to help firms and professionals level up their skill-sets to bring added value to the clients, projects, and bottom line.

Depth of knowledge and passion for mentorship
Carolyn is an architect, sustainability strategist, and project manager with over 20 years of experience with higher education, K‑12, science, and institutional clients. She has been recognized for leading integrated design processes, shaping sustainability policy, and guiding complex capital projects from early strategy through delivery. Carolyn combines technical depth (engineering + architecture), strong stakeholder engagement, and a proven record of organizational leadership. In 2022 she was the recipient of the AIA Young Architect Award. Carolyn holds professional credentials in architecture, sustainable architectural design, and public purchasing.
Carolyn’s core competencies are project management; client communication and consultant coordination; sustainable design strategy and implementation; design review, systems integration, and technical oversight; Net Zero and high‑performance building design; integrated design facilitation and stakeholder engagement; sustainable policy development and reporting (AIA 2030, benchmarking); space programming and planning; and mentoring. She has experience in multiple building sectors including Higher Education, Primary and Secondary Education, and Science & Research.
