Practice Ecology
Setting goals for the team and managing the associated tasks
About the Session
Every project has goals, but it is not uncommon for the daily work to obscure them or have team members working at cross purposes. As the project manager, it is your job to get everyone on the same page and keep them working in the same direction. This session covers:
Evaluating how firm, client, and individual goals affect project goals
Setting project goals
Getting out of “task silos” so everyone is working together
Creating and organizing team tasks
Keeping tasks up-to-date
Using task management as part of team management
You will end with the knowledge of what are responsibilities you should take on yourself, how to delegate them to others, and how to ensure goals are met.
